Korein Kinderplein

On behalf of our team, I would like to welcome you to Korein Kinderplein Childcare Services at the Urkhovenseweg, situated in the district of Tongelre in Eindhoven and part of Child Care and Education Centre 't Karregat. Both our daycare services and the primary school at 't Karregat have a lot to offer. Your child will receive all the attention and care he or she needs. Our team is passionate, committed and highly trained. Moreover, we take every child to heart and make sure that he or she is given personal attention. This way, we aim to contribute to the development of the children in a way that suits every child's own pace.

Continuous line of development

At Child Care and Education Centre 't Karregat, we work closely together with Primary School 't Karregat. This ensures an uninterrupted line of development for children from 0 to 13 years of age. Through mutual visits, we ensure that the children feel comfortable in other groups and classrooms. In this way, the transition from preschool to primary school will be an easy one for your toddler! In addition, we organise joint activities at times like St. Nicholas’ Day, Christmas and Carnival.

Safe and familiar environment

We think it is important to offer a safe, familiar environment where children like to be and parents feel welcome. In 2015, the building that houses Child Care and Education Centre 't Karregat was completely renovated, resulting in beautiful, modern classrooms in which children literally have all the space they need to develop. All group areas look and feel spacious and bright due to the large windows. Moreover, the building has a large indoor patio as well as play and sports facilities. Child Care and Education Centre 't Karregat is located on the edge of a park. This large, green, outdoor play area offers a place for children to meet both during and outside of after-school care.

Highly gifted children

Unfortunately, highly gifted children often don't receive the guidance they need at regular primary schools. This may cause them to get stuck in different ways. Primary school 't Karregat offers full-time primary education to highly gifted students from the Eindhoven region. In so-called Omnio groups they meet with like-minded children and specialised teachers to optimally develop their social and cognitive competences, at their own level and at their own pace. This makes children enjoy going to school again.

Group composition

Our daycare services consist of a baby group (Mice: age 0-2/3), a toddler group (Lambs: age 2/3-4), a preschool group (Horses: age 2/3-4) and three after-school care groups (Pandas: age 4-5, Chicks: age 6-7, Giraffes: age 8-13). In addition, we offer free walk-in play opportunities for children aged 1.5 and up, as well as swimming lessons for children starting at age 5.

Would you like to see for yourself what we have to offer? Then don't hesitate to stop by and ask for a guided tour.
